Appendix: The Significance Of The Black Cube
In this thread I will briefly touch upon the significance of the Black Cube; an often misunderstood symbol that appears in the elitarian architecture of the last decades.
>I. Body, Tomb, Oven.
It has become common within western thought to showcase an unrestrained hatred for the 'body' in gnostic or 'sacerdotal' notion; the body being the dwelling place of all inferior impulses, violently opposed to pneumatic realization; it must be denied in all its aspects. On a more profound order, however, on which the alternating cycle of life and death is concerned, the body is associated with the 'tomb' or 'oven', a place of 'death' and 'birth' likewise, which are the same process viewed from different directions of the cycle. The malevolent aspects of 'body' and 'death' become in this view the complementary key to rebirth and growth; the body must be dissolved, the "Universal Mercury" seperated; but remaining in the state of dissolution corresponds to virtuality and non-being; a 'hardening' contraction must be defined, arising from the silver turf as a fiery needle; the alchemical work begins and ends with a 'body'; at the and of the process, 'coagula', it is re-established according to higher principles. The maleficient and benevolent aspects of the body are written in hermetic texts, as "the crown of ashes", 'remains' of the great work that seem trivial only to the undiscerning. Likewise it is the tomb which is both grave and womb. All symbolism of 'corporeality' or 'materiality' is to be understood in this double aspect.
>II. Saturn: The Bringer Of The Golden Age
The bilateral nature of death is encapsulated in the figure "Saturn", who is known as the god of time and death. His name is associated to the material human bone structure, yet in the celestial order, he becomes the 'hidden sun', or 'mover of the zodiac'. (Continued)

He is the guardian of the fourth part of the solar cycle, the ‚sunset‘; the representative of the ‚unmoved mover‘ when the sun is set; thence comes the association of Saturn with characteristics of the underworld. In another benevolent aspect, he is a hermit with a lamp, lighting the way through the darkness into the new sunset, the beginning of the first and golden stage of the new cycle. The relationship between the ‚two alchemical bodies‘ mentioned above becomes apparent; the sun is blocking the sight towards the heavenly firmament; it is understood to be an inferior representation of ‚divine unity‘, yet also, in another order, an ‚active principle‘ that is already differentiated from ‚pure being‘, such as in the agrarian sense. When the sun has disappeared, and Saturn appeared, he shows the firmament completely, making him a more complete representative of the one that dwells „über dem Sternenzelt“.

>III. Tikkun Olam and Dissolution
The tenets underlying the nature of Secret Societies changed dramatically during the late 19th century; ‚initiatic‘ environments of a more outspokenly transnational and „inter-religious“ order arose, carried along by figures such as Giuseppe Garibaldi, Helena Blavatsky, Annie Besant, who belonged to the environment around the „Theosophic Society“, even Otto von Bismarck, Albert Pike and Giuseppe Mazzini, who were the constituents of the ‚Palladian Rite‘, which is not a fabrication by Leo Taxil, and Cecil Rhodes, who suggested the establishment of the ‚Ur‘ lodge („Edmund Burke“) that would later give birth to the Pilgrim’s Society. An ominous gleam indwells the late 19th century; the last melodies of the organic life drowned by the discontinuous rhythm of the cold number and the dry ink; the vast heraldry of nature crushed under the weight of the Promethean schizophrenia of ‚Per Sidenius‘.

All these new modalities shared a syncretistic and eschatological outlook, which drew from an evolutionist and Hegelian/Marxist mindset and would form the cornerstone of the later „New Age“ movement. The two most important ideas of this environment, which have been successfully disseminated amoungst the profane, are firstly the dissolution of all ‚hardened‘ material civilizational norms, resulting in chaos, and secondly the collective psychic evolution ushering in a „World Consciousness“, a process that might under many circumstances be veiled under technocratic jargon.

The following situation is now the case: The elitarian circles who have driven this scheme forward know to a certain extent that it is nonsensical and contradictory, but they disseminate it anyway, because they deem it appropriate to the ‚dissolutionary‘ and ‚chaotical‘ aspects of things that must necessarily be the strongest in this particular age. Modern elitarian ‚architects‘ and ‚artists‘ have emphasized the Black Cube in their work more strongly. The cube, as it represents the ‚hardened‘ materiality in its highest individuation and exhaustion, corresponds to the end of a cosmological cycle, and will be ‚dissolved‘ at the end of times and replaced symbolically by a ‚White sphere‘, which represents the primordial chaotic state from which all possibilities develop. The elites build the New World Order, and simultaneously erect its tomb; they are ‚hardening‘ and materializing the world, and simultaneously lay the ground for its dissolution. This is the great and final work by which they hope to put an end to the particular mode of reality that is engraved into this cycle. Some believe that it is possible to find salvation by mastering the inferior realities of the cube; others realize that such people, easily controllable as they are, will help accelerate the end times. This is the reason why witchcraft and sorcery have become widespread, blood rituals are being practiced or condoned, and degeneracy of all sorts is unleashed into every corner of civilization. It is also the reason why certain elitarian families cultivate strictly pure bloodlines: It is believed that it allows the individual „ego“ consciousness to overcome „Fate“, or „rule of the stars“ [sealed with the ring of fire by the seven ‚planetary‘ agents], which is in corollary „rule of birth“; an attempt at horizontal expansion instead of vertical ascension and therefore necessarily „cube-inward“. ++ You reference malevolent degenerate aspects of Saturn that came into full fruition when the core traditional knowledge had already disappeared; during such stages sorcery and blood sacrifice become widespread.
The Fraternitas Saturni is, like the Hermetic Order Of The Golden Dawn, a group that draws from these degenerate tendencies that I have described took over every all initiatic realms in the late 19th century. The Fraternitas Saturni was especially involved with 'Quantum physics' and the chaos magic to which it lay ground. A presentiment could already be seen with Plancks 'Quantum of action', which in its reduced form ħ not accidentally resembles the saturnian sigil.
In the picture one can see another variation of the Saturnian sign; this time it represents the material 'bone' enclosed by the five-fold human sensible constitution, the 'first circle'.
